Who We Are

Welcome to Lakeview Fellowship! We chose this word deliberately because the idea of a fellowship signifies a very precious and particular meaning for us. Webster’s defines ‘fellowship’ this way:

“A society of like-minded individuals who make common cause with one another through mutual trust and charity.”

This is our ethos, and our bedrock identity.

Based upon our shared devotion to the Gospel of Jesus Christ and our solidarity with one another as friends and believers, we came together in the hope that God would lead us into a brighter future, free from the difficulties and the disappointments so many have experienced in institutions and congregations elsewhere.

Slowly we began to see a pathway unfolding before us to become an institution and a congregation of our own; not because we believe that we can do it better, or more perfectly, than others. On the contrary, we acknowledge that we are fully human and therefore deeply flawed, and we know that the only way this enterprise will succeed is if we look to Almighty God for mercy and grace.

Nevertheless, the spirit of fellowship - which we so richly enjoyed - impelled us onward, and the result is a Bible-believing, Faith-based, Holy Spirit filled Church that welcomes all who enter in! Today, we hope that you will join us in the greatest fellowship of all :

“God is forever faifthful because he has called us into the Fellowship of His Son, our Lord Jesus Christ!”
