When These Things Begin to Take Place: Part I & II

Sunday April 19th 2026 - Sunday April 26th 2026

Part I

‘The Origin of the Jewish and Arab Peoples’

Pastor Randy’s latest sermon unfolded like a sweeping narrative as it carried our congregation from the depths of Genesis to the tensions shaping the modern Middle East. With a storyteller’s cadence and a scholar’s precision, Pastor traced the lineage of Isaac and Ishmael, showing how their divergent destinies still echo into current events. And by exploring how God’s covenant and promise set the stage for thousands of years of relationship, rivalry, and redemption, we can see that what’s happening today isn’t random chaos. On the contrary, it’s all part of a divine plan. Don’t miss this golden opportunity to understand not only where these peoples came from, but why their story still matters and how it shapes the spiritual landscape of our time…

Part 2

‘The Re-Establishment of Israel’

Pastor Randy delivered a powerful and eye‑opening message this week on “The Re‑Establishment of Israel,” calling it the single greatest prophetic event of the last thousand years. He walked us through how the modern‑day nation of Israel wasn’t just a geopolitical development — it was God’s will in action - right on schedule!

The rebirth of Israel in 1948 stands as a living, global reminder not only that God keeps His promises, but also that the return of Christ is closer than ever. This isn’t distant history; it’s a sign of the times unfolding right in front of our eyes. So, if you’ve ever wondered how today’s headlines connect to ancient prophecy, this message is for you.

Come discover why Christians have every reason to rejoice — as the stage is set for all that comes next…

Will the Real Church Please Rise?!

Sunday April 12th 2026

In this week’s message, Pastor Randy challenged us—in the most exciting and hope‑filled way—to rediscover what made the first‑century church of the Book of Acts so dynamic. In short, those early Christians weren’t there to just “do church.” On the contrary, they wanted to change the world because God never designed the church to simply impact itself. God designed the church to impact our families, our community and the wider society around us. Ironically, that outward focus is exactly what causes a healthy church to grow!

To be sure, Lakeview Fellowship must take its marching orders from the example of the early church. We should be the epitome of a joyful, vibrant, unified people—happy and “of one accord” (which means that when it comes to Jesus, we’re all on the same page). That’s the heartbeat of the real church. And that’s what God is calling us to today…

Easter isn’t Taps, It’s Reveille!

Sunday April 5th 2026

This week at Lakeview, Pastor Randy boldly reframes the meaning of Easter: it’s not Taps - It’s Reveille! In other words, the Resurrection is God’s way of sounding the alarm, rousing His people to stand up, shake off complacency, and live with purpose.

Too many of us drift through our days as though the slow march toward the grave were inevitable, while the soundtrack of “Taps” plays faintly in the background. But the empty tomb silences that melody forever, because in Christ we have no reason to fear death. And if death has lost its sting, then we are free to live boldly, joyfully, and fully awake. Easter is God’s reveille — and it’s time to rise!

Palm Sunday

Sunday March 29th 2026

Picture the scene: the gates of Jerusalem are buzzing, the city swollen with pilgrims, and suddenly Jesus appears — not on a warhorse, not surrounded by soldiers, but riding a humble donkey. To most people watching, it looked almost laughably ordinary. How could a man on that animal be anyone important, let alone the long‑promised Messiah?

This week, Pastor Randy helps us see that Jesus’ entrance wasn’t a miscalculation — it was a declaration. By choosing a donkey and its colt, Jesus was fulfilling the ancient promises of Scripture. And more than that: He was signaling that a cosmic shift was underway. The old system of law, sacrifice, and striving was about to give way to a new covenant of grace, and an era of freedom with a restored relationship to God. The donkey carried the weight of the old world. The colt shouldered the promise of the new.

For those with eyes to see, Jesus’ ride into Jerusalem wasn’t small or unimpressive — it was the moment everything began to change. And it still changes people today!

The Weight of Our Bound Status

Sunday March 22nd 2026

Lazarus wasn’t just bound up in grave clothes — he was bound by a reality no one could escape. Death had claimed him completely. No doctor, no ritual, no human effort could pull him back. And his story serves as a compelling metaphor for our own condition: we may be breathing, but spiritually we’re stuck… bound by habits we can’t break, wounds we can’t heal, and a heaviness we can’t shake.

This week, dynamic guest speaker - Dr. Richard Baker - illuminates the story of Lazarus in a way that helps us see ourselves in it — not as spectators, but as people Jesus is calling forth from tombs of our own making. He doesn’t just loosen a few knots; He sets us free. The same voice that called Lazarus back to life still calls to us today, inviting us to step into a freedom that no fear, no failure, and no past mistake can ever bind again!

You’ve Got Mail: Part VII

Sunday March 15th 2026

Part 7

“The Sin of Living at Room Temperature”

Is there anything worse than a big sip of warm water on a hot summer day? It doesn’t refresh. It doesn’t help, and it might even make you feel worse.

Jesus once said that a lukewarm faith works the same way. It doesn’t heal, it doesn’t strengthen, and it doesn’t really make a difference. That’s why reading the Church of Laodicea’s mail is so important. In Revelation chapter 3, we get a behind‑the‑scenes look at this particular church that seemed so successful on the outside but had quietly drifted into spiritual autopilot on the inside.

So Join Pastor Randy as he unpacks this story with vivid clarity, showing us how easy it is to slip into a life that’s comfortable but empty, busy but unfulfilled, successful but spiritually dry. Luckily, Jesus doesn’t leave us stuck there. He invites us into something real… something vibrant… something that actually transforms the way we think, live, and love.

You’ve Got Mail: Part V & VI

Sunday March 1st 2026 - Sunday March 8th 2026

Part 5

“Wake UP!”

Dead as a doornail. What a perfect description of the Church of Sardis in Revelation Chapter 3. That church was dead as a doornail. Yet, oddly enough, nobody knew it!

Imagine a bustling, hip, super-cool church that seems to be doing everything right. Nevertheless, while we may be impressed, God is anything but.

That’s where Pastor Randy picks up the story. By reading the letter to the Church of Sardis, we learn not to confuse Activity with Anointing. The genuine anointing of God comes from a place of trust and humility. It yearns for the pure will of the Lord long before it takes action. Anything else is just empty. So, if the church is willing to put God first, then rest assured: He will direct our ways and bless our efforts to the uttermost!

Part 6

“Persevere with Jesus”

Finally, a breath of fresh air!

The Church of Philadelphia is the only church (among the seven of Revelation Chapters 2 & 3) that the Lord genuinely praises without any criticism at all. It’s the church of brotherly love, the church of the open door, and the church of the true gospel. If there’s any church at all that we should strive to emulate, this is it!

This week, Pastor Randy encourages everyone at Lakeview to become a Philadelphian. Take advantage of open doors, don’t fall prey to slick-talking false teachers, and wait (with great anticipation) for the return of the Lord. But more importantly, it’s the historic and profound example of love from this ancient church that we should latch onto. Because, when all else fails and the going gets tough, it’s only love that will keep us together, and enliven our spirits, as long as we have the courage to persevere… with JESUS!

You’ve Got Mail: Part I & II

Sunday February 1st 2026 - Sunday February 8th 2026

Part I

“When the Flame Fizzles”

How do you fall out of love? According to the Bible, it’s not possible… at least not in the way most people think. It’s easy to feel like the spark just isn’t there anymore, or maybe “the thrill is gone”! But in reality, love is a choice, and if we fail to proactively choose love-then sure-it’s easy to fall out of it.

That’s exactly what happened to the Church of Ephesus in Revelation chapter 2. They “lost their first love”, but not because they didn’t feel warm and fuzzy about their Lord and Savior, but because they abandoned their commitment to choose love each and every day. Eventually they faded into a nominal role as a community outreach center that paid lip service to the Gospel but lacked the heart and soul of the redeemed people of God. Here’s a good word from Pastor Randy: let’s not get so wrapped up in what we’re doing… that we forget why we’re doing it.

SUNDAY FEB. 1st 2026

Part 2

“Persevering Under Pressure”

Imagine getting a letter from God telling you how much you’re going to suffer, and how rewarding it will all be!

That’s the story of the Church of Smyrna in Revelation chapter 2. God warns them about a coming tribulation (using a word that literally means “pressure from all sides”). But through their perseverance, they were assured that they would win a true and lasting victory.. Pastor Randy let’s us know that we should take the example of this Church to heart. There’s no guarantee that times won’t get tough. But Jesus will be right there with us, concerned for our every ache and pain. And when it’s all over, the bad times will pale in comparison to the heavenly blessings that await!

The Blame Game BUSTED!

Sunday January 18th 2026

Own your own mess, so God can Bless! How ‘bout that for a slogan :)

We might not want to admit it but there’s really no point in blaming others. Although we expend vast amounts of energy laying blame anywhere and everywhere we can-at the end of the day-it’s a typically pointless exercise.

In this brand new sermon, Pastor Randy digs into the Biblical foundation for personal responsibility, with a tender and considerate nod to the many personal tragedies that innumerable individuals have faced in their lives; because the Bible’s clear teaching still resounds throughout the ages… tragedies of the past may explain our situation, but they don’t excuse it. God has wonderful plans for each of his children that transcend whatever hardships we’ve faced. It’s time to embrace our future as sons and daughters of the Most High by busting the Blame Game once and for all!

Does God Trust You With Victory? Part I & II

Sunday January 4th 2026 - Sunday January 11th 2026

Part I

“He brought us out… so that He might bring us in!”

Deuteronomy 6:23 isn’t just a verse we admire at Lakeview Fellowship — it’s the story God has written into our very DNA. It captures the way He has led us, shaped us, and carried us. God didn’t simply call us out of one place; He called us into the place He prepared for us… a place marked by His goodness, His timing, and His unmistakable grace.

As Pastor Randy explains in this stirring sermon: God hasn’t changed — and neither has the principle of faith. The same God who led Joshua and his army into the promised land is the very same God who leads us today. When we trust Him… when we cling to His Word… victory becomes more than a story in Scripture — it becomes our lived reality.

SUNDAY JAN. 4th 2026

Part II

Jericho was theirs for the taking!

Join Pastor Randy as he dives deep into the first moments of the conquest of Canaan, and highlights the fact that victory wasn’t necessarily guaranteed. Imagine the tension, the anxiety, and even the fear as the people of Israel stared down armies of adversaries waiting for them in the Promised Land. Before they could even hope to succeed, the people of God were called upon to renew the Covenant, re-evaluate their Faith, and remove their Disgrace. It was time to leave Egypt behind, once and for all; because there was no place for an oppressive past in the bright future that God had in store for them.

This is exactly the recipe for our success right here and now. So let’s uphold the Faith, cling to God’s promises, and watch as the Lord takes down the strongholds that stand in our way!
