From the Suburbs of Hell to the Feet of Jesus

In Luke Chapter 8, we encounter the Gerasene Demoniac—a man not merely troubled but tormented. Possessed by a legion of demons, exiled, stripped of dignity, and driven to live at the margins of society-his life is a portrait of spiritual ruin. But then Jesus arrives, and He speaks into the madness. Jesus commands the legion to flee. And when the dust settles, we see the miracle: the man is clothed, happy, and whole-sitting at the feet of Jesus.

In this brand new sermon, Pastor Randy invites us to step into the sandals of this once-hopeless man. Because whether we are bound by shame or guilt—each of us has lived at the margins. Each of us has felt the pull of the abyss. And yet, the Gospel declares that no distance is too great, no darkness too deep, no legion too strong. God rescues us when we are ruined by taking us from the suburbs of Hell to the Feet of Jesus!
