Frequently Asked Questions
Is Lakeview Fellowship affiliated with the Southern Baptist Convention?
While we affirm the Baptist Faith & Message, we are not formally affiliated with the SBC. We are committed to preserving the integrity of our fellowship and the independence it needs in order to thrive. Therefore, while we recognize the importance of cooperation to further the Great Commission, we reserve the right to rule ourselves, in accordance with the dictates of our conscience and the precepts of the Holy Bible.
Is there plenty of Parking?
Absolutely. We are currently renting space inside the TableRock Career Center across from Reeds Spring High School. This is a multi-million dollar building designed to accommodate a large faculty, staff and student body. There is no shortage of space both inside and out, and visitors have remarked that the facility exceeds their expectations.
Should I wear my Sunday best?
Come as you are. We are generally casual, and there is no dress code. Our fellowship focuses on the Heart, not the Fashion.
How are donations handled?
We specifically set aside time to receive offerings and donations during our Sunday morning service. We also accept donations at any time through our website, with SSL encryption. Lakeview Fellowship is a non-profit corporation in good standing with the State of Missouri. Our Officers and Directors are bound by law to exercise oversight over the corporation’s finances in a manner that is careful, prudent, and consistent with federal and state regulations.
Can I join Lakeview Fellowship?
Membership represents a commitment to actively participate in the life, culture, and development of our fellowship. If you feel led to join, the only formal qualifications for prospective members are baptism and a willingness to publicly profess Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior.
WE LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU THIS SUNDAY!!!
